The Music of the Cadets Featured in New Independent Film in 2006
A new indie film by Jason Sherry entitled "Cubes" features the music of Joe Stanky & the Cadets. The film recently played at the Woods Hole Film Festival as well as at the Pocono Mountains Film Festival. Hopefully it will be coming to a theater near you soon. The film also features the music of the Barenaked Ladies and many others. For more information see the Cubes website.

Joe Stanky performed with the great Carl Finch and Brave Combo at the Trillo, Wilkes-Barre, PA. Combo performed the Cadet song Polka Dancer and Joe did the vocals. Check out the pic!

Cadets Tune on Grammy Winning Album
A favorite Joe Stanky tune from the Band for Hire album entitled Polka Dancer was recently covered by Brave Combo on their latest all polka CD, Polkasonic. And guess what? It won a Grammy! Best Polka Album of 1999-2000. A great version of the song and a well deserved and long overdue win by Combo. Congrats to Carl and the boys.
